Albert Mráz, Tamás Zámbó, Sándor Imre Efficient radio resource allocation algorithm is proposed for multiuser MIMO-OFDMA environment providing proportional fairness. Familiar MIMO radio channel model is extended for OFDMA transmission, to exploit multiuser diversity. Antenna selection is realized in order to maximize the overall data rate based on MIMO channel estimation. Adaptive M-QAM modulation is performed on selected antennas on each subcarrier, taking into account singular value decomposition based channel gain values arisen from the analytical calculation of MIMO channel capacity. Transmit power control is included over subcarriers and transmit antennas.
